[draft] Debug MR pipelines

This MR is for debugging how a MR description can disturb the CI pipelines triggered by a MR as observed in !497 (merged). Reducing the original MR description provided there shows that adding the following to the MR description will let certain tests of a merge request pipeline fail. Notice that branch pipelines for the same commit are not affected by this.
